Recent hats

I am knitting lots of hats lately.  They are instant gratification projects.

This is Eno by Jared Flood. Knitted with Lang Yarn Merino 150 and 3 and 3.5 mm needles.  I used 1.3 skeins.

Cowls, scarf…

A couple of cowls and a scarf/wrap I knitted.

This is Wheaten, pattern by Anne Hanson, knitted with Drops Alpaca and 3.75 mm needles.  5 balls were enough for a good sized scarf.

This is Millwater cowl, pattern by Beth Kling knitted for my sister.  I used 5 skeins of Lang  Baby Merino and 5 mm needles.  I added more stitches 15-24-30 and slipped the first stitch purlwise with yarn in front for a neater edge. Yarn is held double.

And this is my Cabernet Infinity Scarf, pattern by Monika Sirna, knitted with Alpaca Drops in Ice Blue and Drops Alpaca Lace with 4 mm needles.  This stitch is so pretty.  I am very happy with my new cowl.

Portrait de Goupil

Very fun to make. Used some leftovers of Natura Just Cotton and Phil Coton 3. T he fabric of the background of the picture is the one I used for the back of the portrait.

Lindo de hacer, queda un cuadrito muy lindo para decorar. La tela del fondo de la foto es la misma que use para poner en la parte de atras del portaretrato.
